A. Introduction & Application Operator

MintSaaS Solutions (“MintSaaS”) operates the digital platform hosted at https://www.mintsaas.net. As part of our creator tool suite, MintSaaS provides Remotion Uploader, a specialized software application designed to streamline video production and distribution.

Purpose of Remotion Uploader: Remotion Uploader renders high-definition programmatic videos created using the Remotion React video framework (such as 16:9 widescreen educational videos and vertical social formats) and enables content creators to publish and manage those videos directly to their authorized YouTube channels without manual file-handling overhead.

Integration with Google and YouTube Services: To provide this direct publishing functionality, Remotion Uploader integrates with Google APIs, specifically the YouTube Data API v3. By connecting your Google account with Remotion Uploader, you enable the application to interact with your YouTube channel on your behalf in accordance with the permissions you explicitly grant.

B. Information We Collect

We practice strict data minimization. Remotion Uploader accesses and processes only the minimum technical data necessary to authenticate your account, upload rendered videos, and confirm publishing status. We clearly distinguish between data accessed through Google APIs and data provided directly by users:

1. Information Accessed via Google APIs
  • Google Account Identifiers: Basic Google Account identifier (Google user ID) and primary email address, accessed solely to identify and verify the authenticated session.
  • YouTube Channel Information: Channel ID, channel title, custom handle, and channel thumbnail image, used to display connected publishing destinations in the workflow interface.
  • YouTube Video Upload Status: Upload status flags, processing states (processing, uploaded, failed), video ID assigned by YouTube, and API error codes.
  • OAuth Authorization Tokens: Cryptographically generated OAuth 2.0 access tokens and refresh tokens issued by Google to authorize API requests.
2. Information Users Provide Directly
  • Video Titles & Descriptions: Titles, descriptions, tags, and category IDs you designate for your video upload.
  • Video Media Files: Rendered MP4 video files generated by Remotion compositions containing your configured visual assets, audio files, and script prompts.
  • Publishing Preferences: Privacy settings (public, unlisted, private), licensing settings, and scheduled release times.
  • Technical Support Records: Error descriptions and correspondence submitted when requesting customer support.

Explicit Negative Scope • Data We NEVER Collect

Remotion Uploader does NOT request access to, inspect, or process your personal Gmail messages, Google Drive documents, Google Contacts, Chrome browsing history, payment credentials, or private YouTube watch history.

C. How We Use Google User Data

Google user data is accessed and utilized solely to execute core user-requested video publishing functionality. Specifically, Remotion Uploader performs the following operations:

  • Channel Connection & Authentication: Authenticating the user through Google OAuth 2.0 and securely associating their designated YouTube channel with their publishing pipeline.
  • Uploading Videos via YouTube Data API: Executing chunked resumable video uploads via the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.upload scope to transfer rendered Remotion MP4 video files directly to the user's authorized YouTube channel.
  • Managing Video Metadata: Setting video titles, descriptions, keyword tags, category IDs, language settings, and privacy statuses (public, unlisted, or private) on uploaded videos as specified by the user.
  • Monitoring Processing Status: Querying the YouTube Data API (videos.list via https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.readonly) to track upload completion, video processing status, and surface any processing errors or transcoding status to the user.
  • Monitoring API Quotas & Diagnostics: Tracking quota usage units and operational timestamps to prevent rate limiting and maintain reliable automation for user-scheduled video batches.

D. Google API Services User Data Policy & Limited Use Disclosure

Google API Services User Data Policy Compliance

Remotion Uploader's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

In accordance with Google's Limited Use requirements, we explicitly maintain the following operational commitments:

No Sale of User Data

We never sell, rent, license, or trade Google user data, channel metadata, or tokens to third parties, data brokers, or advertising networks for any monetary or commercial consideration.

No Advertising Use

Google user data is never used or transferred for serving advertisements, including targeted advertising, retargeting, interest-based profiling, or personalized commercial messaging.

Zero AI / ML Model Training

We do not use Google user data, video content, prompts, or channel metadata to train, fine-tune, evaluate, or improve machine learning or artificial intelligence models.

Human Access Strictly Restricted

No human employee or contractor reads or accesses Google user data unless: (1) you provide express written consent for troubleshooting a specific upload; (2) necessary for security investigations; or (3) required by law.

E. Data Storage & Technical Security Controls

We implement industry-standard administrative, physical, and technical security safeguards to protect Google user data against unauthorized access, destruction, disclosure, or alteration:

  • Server-Side Token Storage: OAuth 2.0 refresh tokens and client credentials are stored exclusively in secure, encrypted server-side environments and protected backend secrets vaults with access restricted strictly to authorized deployment services.
  • Zero Client-Side Exposure: OAuth refresh tokens are never transmitted to client browsers, never written to cookies, and never stored in browser localStorage or session storage.
  • Encryption in Transit: All communications between the user's browser, our backend infrastructure, and Google/YouTube API endpoints are encrypted using modern Transport Layer Security (TLS 1.3 / HTTPS).
  • Transient Video Storage: Rendered MP4 video files are held on server storage only during the active rendering and chunked upload protocol, after which they are automatically purged.
  • Sanitized Operational Logs: Diagnostic and operational logs are strictly sanitized to exclude authentication tokens, secrets, and private payload data.

F. Data Sharing & Third-Party Sub-Processors

Remotion Uploader does not share, disclose, or transfer Google user data with any third parties except as strictly necessary to fulfill the service requested by the user:

Google LLC (YouTube API Services)Video Publishing & Metadata Host

When you initiate an upload, video media and metadata are transmitted directly to YouTube servers. Your use of YouTube features is governed by the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.

Cloud Infrastructure PartnersHosting & Storage

Our backend infrastructure is hosted on enterprise-grade cloud platforms including Vercel Inc. (application edge deployment) and Supabase Inc. (database backend), operating under executed Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) with SOC 2 Type II compliance and rigorous security standards.

G. Data Retention & Deletion Policy

We retain Google user data only for as long as necessary to provide the Remotion Uploader service:

  • OAuth Credentials: Retained only while your YouTube channel remains actively connected. If you disconnect your channel or revoke access, your OAuth tokens are immediately and irreversibly deleted from our backend.
  • Temporary Video Files: Local server renders of MP4 video files are automatically deleted immediately upon verified completion of the YouTube API upload (or within 24 hours in the event of an unrecoverable rendering failure).
  • Operational Diagnostic Logs: Non-identifying API request timestamps, response codes, and YouTube video IDs are retained for up to 90 days for quota management and error debugging, after which they are permanently deleted.

How to Request Immediate Data Deletion

You have the right to request deletion of all personal data, channel associations, and logs stored by MintSaaS at any time. To request deletion, send an email to support@mintsaas.net with the subject line “Data Deletion Request — Remotion Uploader”. All verified deletion requests are executed within 48 hours without fee.

H. Revoking Google Account Access

You maintain full control over your Google Account and may revoke Remotion Uploader's access at any time directly through Google's security portal:

Remotion Uploader and MintSaaS are intended exclusively for professional creators, businesses, and individuals who are at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in their jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information or authorize Google accounts of children under 13 (or under 16 in the European Economic Area / UK) in accordance with the US Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and EU GDPR. We ensure all cross-border data transfers comply with applicable data protection legislation, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) through Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).

K. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect operational, legal, or regulatory updates or changes to Google API policies. When updates are published, the revised version will be posted at https://www.mintsaas.net/privacy-policy with an updated “Last Updated” date.
